AutoTrack\u2122 continuously tracks every radar sweep in the background, allowing the user to focus on other tasks. The system does not only track, but adds a new intelligent layer to the radar \u2014 adapting to the environment and warning in real time about emerging hazards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integration and requirements<\/strong>
AutoTrack\u2122 is enabled by default with HALO 20+ and HALO 24 software version 7.2.0.23. If desired, it can be disabled in the radar settings. The feature works seamlessly with compatible Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G multifunction displays. The compatibility table is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AutoTrack\u2122 is a navigation aid, but it does not replace a collision avoidance system or primary navigation equipment. It does not replace proper training,

AutoTrack\u2122 is supported on:<\/strong>
\u2022 HALO\u00ae 2000 and 3000 open-array radars (Simrad MFDs only)
\u2022 HALO\u00ae 20+ and HALO\u00ae 24 dome radars on all Simrad\u00ae, Lowrance\u00ae, and B&G\u00ae systems<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 AutoTrack\u2122 is NOT supported on HALO\u00ae 20 radar.
\u2022 The software update may install on HALO 20, but it is of no benefit to the user.
\u2022 HALO 2000 and 3000 radars can be used only with Simrad MFDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lowrance Elite FS\u00ae \/ HDS\u00ae, Simrad NSO\u00ae \/ NSS\u00ae Evo3S or B&G\u00ae Zeus\u00ae 3S and Glass Helm<\/strong>
1. Download the file RadarApp-BRHDG2-7.2.0.23.riw from the Lowrance, Simrad, or B&G website. Save it to an empty microSD card.
2. Insert the card into the MFD microSD slot and make sure the radar is powered on.
3. From the MFD home screen, open Storage \u2192 select the microSD card \u2192 select the software file \u2192 Upgrade.
4. REMOTE UPGRADE will appear on the screen. If there are multiple radar units on the network, select the device with version 7.1.0.279 and press Start Upgrade.
5. The update will begin and install automatically. At the end, the message \u201cUpgrade Complete\u201d will be displayed.
6. Press OK and return to the main menu. Check the version: Settings > Radar > Installation > Radar Status > Scanner Info. The version must be 7.2.0.22.
7. The update is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Connect the MFD to the internet (Settings > Connectivity > WiFi).
2. Open: Settings > General > Software Updates.
3. There you will see the HALO 20+ or HALO 24 v7.2.0.23 update. Select Update now.
4. The update dialog will open \u2014 select Update.
5. The device will show the update progress. When complete, the message \u201cDevice update successful\u201d will appear. Select Finish.
