An everyday sailing yacht with a thrilling planing performance
Sailing brings different emotions. It could be said that one of the strongest positive emotions arises when a yacht moves faster than usual, and even more so when it seems to lift out of the water and break free, beginning to plane lightly. Yachts that create these emotions are the cornerstone of modern sailing, but until now they have been out of reach for the average sailor.
A legend is reborn in January 2025
Beneteau aims to create a light, user-friendly, safe and ergonomic sailing yacht that does not compromise on performance or comfort and is capable of delivering to the average sailor the emotion sparked by a planing yacht. So we are delighted to introduce the new BENETEAU FIRST 30 sailing yacht, which embodies all of the above.

THE NEW BENETEAU FIRST 30 offers speed and planing performance without the need for a crew that has trained or worked together for years – it is already possible with a group of friends or family. To achieve this, the FIRST 30 is extremely light and equipped with simple systems and rigging. Excellent handling also helps, ensuring confident control of the yacht even when speeds reach double digits. The cockpit is designed both for fast sailing and for relaxed enjoyment. Its main strengths are ergonomics and spaciousness. In addition, there is a choice of two different layouts: cruising and racing, meeting different needs, while neither option compromises the yacht’s core principles.

With all of this in mind, it is appealing that the yacht’s interior and saloon also meet the standards of a typical everyday sailing yacht, being comfortable and cosy and including everything needed. In addition, the saloon is relatively spacious (185 cm headroom) and, if desired, can be made even more luxurious with the PREMIUM package.
Another advantage of the NEW BENETEAU FIRST 30 is of course its price – starting from 100,000 euros (excluding VAT) – making speed and comfort more accessible.
In addition, one such yacht will be coming to Estonia for the ORC World Championship to be held in Tallinn next summer, so interested parties will have the opportunity to get to know the FIRST 30 more closely in the summer of 2025.
