The Hydra Skypoint electric bow-mounted trolling motor is especially easy to use with the included wireless remote control. The remote control with display allows convenient control and management of motor functions, even when visibility toward the bow motor is limited. The remote display shows information such as the currently active function, boat speed, trolling motor battery voltage, and remote control battery level. The remote also allows programming up to 16 routes (max 5 km) and 16 route points into the device memory, such as favorite fishing spots. The 12 V 65 lb 54” Hydra Skypoint bow-mounted trolling motor is suitable for boats approximately 4.0–5.5 m in length with a total weight under 700 kg. The optimal choice of trolling motor size is also influenced by other boat characteristics and the operating environment (e.g. windy conditions or strong currents).
