Alter Group OÜ was founded on 1998 and is holding company who owns 100% Alter Baltics OÜ who handles sales and distribution in all Baltic states - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Inside Alter Baltics we have two divisions: marine- and electrical. Electrical division activity is mainly electrical installation materials and commercial lighting systems, including lighting control systems. Marine division now mainly distributes Navico brands (Lowrance, Simrad, Simrad PRO and B&G) in all three Baltic states. Additionally we take care Evinrude, Mastervolt (Ancor, BEP, Blue Sea, Czone, Lenco, Marinco, ProMariner), Torqeedo, Hella Marine, Lalizas, Ritchie, FLIR, XYLEM (Jabsco & Rule) and some other brands on our marketplace. We handle also some boat brands like Fjordstar and Ridas RIB boats and Faster aluminium boats from Finland. These are boat brands what we have sold on marketplace within last three years, mainly government tenders and -projects. 

We have new (2008) office/warehouse building in Tallinn not far from Pirita harbour and city center. We are offering to our customers full service - boat+engine, additional and safety equipment, PDC, service, winter storage and more. We have demo boat available for customers in order to present on-water demos. 

We are working closely with Estonian boating and fishing magazines and not just buying adds there but also publishing tests. Every year we participating on Estonian Boat Show "Meremess" with a booth covering approx. 150m2. With Navico brands we are participating also in Riga Boat Show and in Hunting Horn show in Lithuania.

Main owners of Alter Group OÜ are sailing and boating enthusiasts. We understand that marine sector is developing in full speed and for this reason we are visiting regularly distributor meetings, major boat shows in Europe and what is most important, we are visiting our customers like boat dealers, fishing tackle shops and dealers in other Baltic States in order to collect different info from the marketplace.

In January 2015 our companies got ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications.

In January 2017 we opened our first office in Riga - Katlakalna 11C.
